The Revelstoke Review, Revelstoke’s weekly newspaper of record for more than 120 years, has an opening for an Editor.
This individual will be responsible for managing the editorial content of the newspaper’s online and print publications.
Duties will include, but not be limited to, reporting, writing, editing, taking pictures, and creating videos on all aspects of the community.
The successful candidate will be capable of developing in-depth feature articles, while also reporting on community news, events, sports and more. They will ensure timely coverage of breaking news, and will be responsible for regularly updating our website and using social media to tell stories and generate traffic.
They will be responsible for managing and editing the work of freelancers and contributors.
Candidates will be proficient with InDesign and PhotoShop.
This position is based in Revelstoke, British Columbia, a beautiful mountain community with endless opportunities for outdoor adventure. It his home to world class skiing, snowmobiling, mountain biking and hiking, and has one of the best public school systems in B.C.
