Description:
The Peninsula News Review, located in scenic Sidney,
B.C., has an opening for the position of publisher. The News
Review has a circulation of 15,000 copies every Wednesday
and Friday, as well as a full complement of supplements.
We are seeking an individual with proven leadership skills
and a record of community involvement and volunteerism
to continue the strong growth this paper has experienced.
Ideally, you should have a thorough understanding of
all facets of community newspaper operations, with an
emphasis on sales, marketing and financial management.
The publisher also carries an active advertising client list.
As publisher of the award-winning Peninsula News
Review, you will help develop a business strategy to
reinforce our position as Canada's leading independent
community newspaper publisher.
